Make A Difference

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

So many people ask us all the time how they can help us Make A Difference.  Sometimes we need volunteers, sometimes we just need a little financial assistance.  If you want to do something for YTIA right now, would you please consider becoming a financial sponsor?  No gift to us is too small, we are grateful for any assistance we receive.

Thanks very much for your support.
Birthday Fundraiser for YTIA
Here is an easy way you can help Make A Difference and support YTIA financially.  Create a FaceBook Fundraiser during your birthday month and select "Ytia" (initial cap only) as the non-profit to benefit.  It is that easy!!
Become a Charitable donor (investor) through your employment.
Many employers allow you to select a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to support and will deduct your contribution from your paycheck.  This is a way you can Make A Difference without having to do anything but open your heart.
Make an End-of-Year Contribution
As the tax year comes to an end, consider making a tax-deductible contribution to YTIA.  (We will send you a letter confirming your donation.)
Become a Monthly Investor.
Pray and ask God if you should be become a monthly contributor to YTIA. You can contribute as little or as much as you feel led.  All of the funds received by YTIA go directly to the programs that help youth transition out of foster care.
Volunteer your time Periodically
If you would like to help us with our activities, volunteer for our community service projects or events, or help us in our office, send us an email: [email protected].  When an event or activity comes up, we will send you an e-mail to see if you can assist.
Consider becoming a Supportive Adult.  Many youths who are close to leaving the foster care system need someone they can call upon to help them make decisions, or just to talk to for some sound advice.  It's not about being a mentor, it's about being a good listener and being willing to guide a young person when they ask for a little help.
