Support System. Sometimes you just need someone to listen, help you think through a situation, offer a little encouragement, or simply remind you that you're not alone. Whatever you're facing, we're here to listen, talk with you, offer support, and pray with you if you'd like. Just give us a call—we're here for you.
Workshops & Conferences. Our interactive workshops and conferences give youth the opportunity to build confidence, practice real-world life skills, and prepare for a successful transition from foster care to independent adulthood through engaging, hands-on experiences.
Guidance & Legal Support. YTIA offers legal guidance—not legal advice—to help youth better understand the consequences of their choices and how today's decisions can shape tomorrow's opportunities. Our goal is to provide practical support, answer questions, and connect youth with additional resources when needed.
Growing and Preparing (G.A.P.) Tool Kit. Our kit is filled with practical resources, helpful information, and planning tools to help youth confidently prepare for life after foster care. It's designed to equip young people with the knowledge they need to successfully transition into independent adulthood.
Team YTIA. Team YTIA gives youth the opportunity to serve others, give back to the community, and make a meaningful difference through volunteerism. As an added benefit, volunteers receive a certificate documenting their community service hours, which can be used to strengthen college, scholarship, and job applications.
Spiritual Support. At YTIA, we believe in the power of prayer and the hope it brings. If you're seeking spiritual guidance, need someone to pray with you, or simply want encouragement, we're here for you. Give us a call at (210) 256-1888—we'd be honored to walk alongside you. 4P = 2G | Proverbs 22:6
Limited Financial Assistance. When unexpected financial challenges arise, YTIA may be able to provide one-time or short-term assistance through our Youth Fund Request program. We also offer educational support through the Be Young Scholarship and the Quick Start Scholarship, helping youth pursue their educational and career goals. Learn more about these opportunities on our Scholarships page.
G.A.P. Publications. Our Growing and Preparing (G.A.P.) Publications—Dollar$ & Sense, Crime & Consequences, and Life After Foster Care 1.0—are written in easy-to-understand language and designed as practical teaching tools. Each publication provides valuable information to help youth make informed decisions, prepare for independence, and confidently navigate life after foster care.
