Youth Explosion 2026 (YE26) is an exciting one-day conference created exclusively for youth ages 14–19 who are in foster care or extended foster care. Designed to educate, inspire, and empower, YE26 brings young people together for a day of interactive learning, real conversations, and meaningful connections that prepare them for a successful future.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to connect with other youth who share similar experiences, learn about the resources and benefits available through the Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) program, and hear firsthand from former foster youth who have successfully navigated life after care.
Youth will also gain valuable insight into how the decisions they make today can impact their future, better understand the legal consequences of their choices, ask questions in a safe and supportive environment, and experience real-world scenarios through fun, engaging, and interactive activities designed to build confidence and life skills.
