"YTIA" pronounced "Ya-T-Uh" or "Y-T-Uh" Either way it means the same thing: Youth Transitioning Into Adulthood

4P=2G is the key to successfully transitioning into adulthood
(Pray, plan, prepare, & practice - Grown & gone!)

From DEPENDENCE to INDEPENDENCE

Between foster care and the real world of adulthood (our communities) there is a gap. A gap that leaves youths unprepared when they exit the system. YTIA bridges the gap from Dependence upon the foster care system to Independence by utilizing an innovative "real world" approach. Youth in the foster care system need to hear and face the truth about life after foster care. YTIA keeps it real.  YTIA seeks to identify youth who want to be prepared when it is time for them to exit the system, desire and are motivated to "make it on their own" and works with them to help ensure they understand what it takes to successfully transition into adulthood and not simply age out of the system. If you are one of those youths, YTIA is looking for you.  Contact us!

INSPIRATION  CORNER

“Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians‬ ‭2:4‬

Take the time today‭ to encourage  and not discourage, to build up and not tear down, to help and not to hinder. Esteem others better than yourself.

Blessings
